Gasthaus Jana in Dürnkrut serves its lunch menu on four days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each menu consists of a soup and a main course and changes daily. Monday, Tuesday and Saturday are closing days.
How do I pre-order the lunch menu?
Pre-ordering is not required, but it helps for larger groups. Simply give us a call – the number is on the Contact page. The menu is also available to take away.
Where do the lunch guests come from?
Guests come for lunch from Dürnkrut, Jedenspeigen, Stillfried, Ebenthal, Drösing and Angern an der March — a few minutes away on the B49. From Zistersdorf, Spannberg, Hohenruppersdorf and Gänserndorf the drive takes fifteen to twenty minutes. Anyone coming from Hohenau an der March or from Břeclav is best advised to call ahead and collect the menu ready to go.

Do I need to book for the lunch menu?
No. Individual guests can simply drop in. From about six people, or if you want to eat at a particular time, a phone call helps.
Is the lunch menu also served on Sunday?
Yes, Sunday is one of the four menu days. On some Sundays the house may be closed — that is then shown next to the day in the weekly overview.
Can I pre-order the lunch menu by phone and collect it?
Yes. Call Gasthaus Jana, tell us which menu you want, how many portions and at what time — the food will be ready for collection. The lunch menu is available to take away; dishes from the regular menu only if arranged by phone in advance. You pay when you collect.
How far ahead should I order a takeaway?
For one or two portions a call shortly beforehand is enough. From about five portions, or if you want to collect at an exact time, it is better to call in the morning.
